Hotels in the Phuket with the best view (Patong, Kathu)

1. Sitara Hotel (Patong)

Sitara Hotel is a new, lovely hotel. New, favourite place to stay for many tourists.
In a category that would take into account all factors.
Such as: beautiful view + elegant design + friendly staff = Sitara is probably number 1 in the Patong.

Positives of Sitara Hotel:
– amazing view from the balcony (during the day and during the night),
– everything is new in the Sitara hotel (they started in February 2026),
– parking space,
– cleaning service / housekeeping everyday (change towels everyday),
– friendly staff.

Negatives (Sitara):
– far away from Bangla Road.

2. Tiger Complex Hotel (Patong)

If You want to have a room next to Jungceylon mall and vis a vis Banzaan Market,
then it is really hard to imagine better location than Tiger Complex Hotel.

Positives of Tiger Complex Hotel:
– amazing view from the window / windows (during the day and during the night),
– cleaning service / housekeeping everyday (change towels everyday),
– restaurant with great design (Tigers in the cave + a little like a green jungle),
– location (next to Jungceylon mall and vis a vis Banzaan Market),
– rooms like apartments (a lot of space + jacuzzi).

Negatives (Tiger Complex):
– no parking space.

3. Goodday hotel (Kathu)

If You want to spent more time on the balcony than in the room. If You want to have a beatuiful view from the balcony and party on the balcony – then Goodday Hotel in the Kathu will be good choice.

Positives of the Goodday hotel:
– beatiful view from the big balcony (You can see the mountains around You).

Negatives (Goodday hotel Kathu):
– old bed, old furniture,
– housekeeping will not clean the furniture for your arrival (low quality of the cleaning service),
– insects and cockroaches (dirty place),
– no pilot to aircon (in the wall is very loud aircon),
– Kathu, but price is so similar to much better quality rooms in Patong,
– Oh… I almost forgot. The most importantly thing = You can’t use the elevator (lift) there during the rainy days / rainy period.

From 2015 I visited many hotels in the Patong, Phuket, Thailand, Malaysia and Philippines, but something like that I saw first time (in 2026).

Summary

In conclusion we recommend Hotel number 1 and Hotel number 2.
You visit hotel number 3 at your own risk.
